Why I Rise Get Lit Student Fellowship Zines
As part of Get Lit – Word’s Ignite, students in the Why I Rise Get Lit Summer Fellowship spent two intensive weeks in quarantine creating multimedia zines that spoke from their hearts on themes they care about. This is the result.
Get Lit – Words Ignite fuses classic and spoken word poetry to increase teen literacy on the page and in visual media. We cultivate enthusiastic learners emboldened to inspire social consciousness in diverse communities.
