Ambar Osorio is a latinx feminist interdisciplinary artist who through the use of her own body in her work, reclaims her body and empowers other brown femmes to do the same. Symbols in her work like vulvas, nipples, hair, and pregnancy point to the social constructs femininity and masculinity as she defies their traditional definitions and limitations. She incorporates other brown bodies in her work as she examines issues of race, colorism, and social justice.
